Love Should Go

Male
Can you remember when,
You and I were together.
We were young, and in love.
Had no cares or worries

Female
Do your remember, the words,
I always said to you.
I used to tell you how much I loved you.

Male
These words are still true
I will always love you.
We were young, immature, didn’t know what the future held.
And I know if I could, I wouldn’t make that mistake
I realized that I still love you.

Female
You had your chance, you ruined it now
I don’t think I can ever trust you.
I was young, and I had feelings
But now I have moved on
Please can you finally do the same

Male
Can you remember when,
You and I were together.

Together
All the moments that we tried, hiding how we felt,
Just started tearing us apart
The distance started hurting for both you and I
Now there’s a way and we know our love should go
And we know our love should go
